Our Choir singing at The O2 Young Voices Concert
As you can see from the photographs, a great time was had by all.
Our school will be hosting a training day for primary school teachers and subject leaders in Kent on Wednesday 22nd February. It’s called ‘Just Play’ and will be led by Musical Futures.
Here is a photo of me and Mrs Krawczak attending training ourselves in London last year.

Year 4 singing Christmas Carols at Bluewater
The Choir perform in London at PiXl, Celebrating Success 2015
Our school choir were invited to sing at the PiXL Celebration Event at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Conference Centre in London on Thursday 9th July. They sang a beautiful song, entitled ‘Believe’, and they received a rapturous applause by all those in attendance. Well done children you have made us very proud!
CBBC Ten Pieces
Ten Pieces is a project that encourages children to listen to, be inspired by and be creative with classical music.
Our Year Three and Year Four classes took part in this project within their music lessons. We were excited to see that two of these classes have been lucky enough to have their work uploaded to the CBBC ten pieces website.
This is a class from Year Three performing their own composition for the BBC Ten Pieces project. It is based on Mussorgsky’s “A Night on the Bare Mountain”.
This is a class from Year Four performing their own composition entitled “Long Ride in a Slow Machine”. It is based on John Adam’s “Short Ride in a Fast Machine”.
Rehearsals take place every Monday after school from 3.15 pm to 4.30 pm in the Junior Hall. Parents, please encourage your children to attend regularly as we are working towards two performances later in the Summer Term. One of which is at the Northfleet Technology College on Tuesday 14th July at 6 pm. At this event the children will be performing as part of a ‘Mega Choir’ with children from two other primary schools. Young musicians from secondary schools in the area, will also be performing.
