St John’s Swimmers
Year 3 have embarked on their weekly swimming lessons and have taken off with roaring success. We have loved seeing pupils enjoying themselves and taking their learning beyond classroom and developing new skills including water comfort, breathe control, floating, kicking and different swimming techniques and strokes. Participating in sessions with highly-trained staff, these swimming lessons are providing a lifesaving set of skills for the pupils and health benefits including improved flexibility, strengthening core muscles and boosting brain power.
