Leading the Way!

This term, RE lessons focused on ‘Co-Creators and De-Creators’ and the issue of deforestation and Palm Oil, finding out more about the repercussions of using Palm Oil in products and writing a letter during class time asking retailers to cut down on the use of Palm Oil as it is contributing to “de-creator” values.

Following the lesson, one pupil Aurora took the subject one step further and proved her passions for it, as she researched the issues and created her own PowerPoint on the subject and used her break time to present her presentation to her peers! We are very proud of her for the determination and resilience displayed as she went above and beyond expectations to teach us more about subjects of importance and how we can support in making the world a better and safer place.
