Applying their Learning to the Classroom!

Pupils have been enjoying using their knowledge learnt on their trip to the Tower of London and during History lessons to plan an engaging Historical Narrative. Year 5 have been developing sentences ensuring that they include relative embedded clauses and lots of powerful adjectives; some of our characters in our stories consist of Henry VIII himself, Edward and Anne Boleyn being a popular choice.  The settings chosen for their stories consist of Hever Castle (where children have been finding their own other relevant historical buildings as part of their homework for this term). Well done to all for applying learning from outside the classroom to your work!
