Welcome back to the final half-term of the academic year. As always, it will be a very busy one: Reports, Open Day, Secondary transfer days, Sports Day, PTA Summer fete………………

Many of you have noticed that building work has yet to start – we’ve noticed too! The final scheduling of work is being done and they expect to start as soon as we finish for the long summer break. But please keep praying for it to start – I am!

Last half-term was dominated by Year 2 and 6 taking their SATs and other assessment activities. The children conducted themselves with a great sense of purpose and resilience. I hope and pray their effort and skills are rewarded.

We also had 67 pupils make their First Holy Communion over 3 Saturdays. They were well prepared for their special day and looked amazing – as the photos showed. I would very much like to thank all the Year 3 staff and the large number of other staff who came to each of the Communions.

We are currently trying to advertise our nursery and the new 30 hour childcare. Please return the recent questionnaire so that we make the right decisions for our community.
